On Landing in China

Immediately

1. Turn on VPN before connecting to any WiFi
2. Connect to airport WiFi
3. Check messages/important updates
4. Navigate to exit

At Airport

1. Get cash if needed (ATM)
2. Get SIM card if planned (carrier counters)
3. Find taxi queue OR open Didi
4. Show hotel address (Chinese) to driver
