Pro Tips

Communication with Drivers

Most drivers don't speak English. Use the in-app messaging with auto-translate, or:

• Screenshot your destination in Chinese
• Use the pin-drop feature instead of typing addresses
• Learn basic Chinese: "这里" (zhèlǐ) = "here"

Airport Pickups

• Book when you land - drivers wait in designated areas
• Follow signs to "Online Car Hailing" pickup zones
• Don't book until you've cleared customs

During Peak Hours

• Book 10-15 minutes before you need to leave
• Consider "Express Pool" (shared rides) for cheaper prices
• Walk to a main road if you're in a small alley

Common Issues & Solutions

"No drivers available"

• Try a different car type
• Wait a few minutes and try again
• Walk to a busier street

Driver can't find you

• Call them using the in-app button (auto-translates)
• Share your live location
• Look for the license plate number shown in app

Payment issues

• Make sure international transactions are enabled on your card
• Try adding a different card
• Use Alipay or WeChat Pay as backup

Safety Tips

• ✅ Always verify the license plate before getting in
• ✅ Share your trip with friends/family (in-app feature)
• ✅ Sit in the back seat
• ✅ Keep the app open during the ride
• ✅ Rate your driver honestly
